Proud to be a Women
Well! Women itself is a powerful word to say and today on International Women’s Day speaking about it is itself a choice of challenge. Every woman who is surviving has some or the other story to express herself and to speak about her life experiences. We live in a society where women earlier were not respected by anyone. But today as the years have passed, a woman has been given equal weightage in almost every field. The way they have grown themselves is marvelous.
International women’s day is celebrated all over the world to show how women has been fighting hard so that they create a platform where they are being respected by people around, to salute their courage, to have gender equality.
We should praise every woman around us who really work hard to accomplish their goals. There may be countries where the women are not treated equally; they are being tortured at home. But still they survive just because they are strong enough to handle every hard situation.
“DON’T LIVE SOMEONE ELSE LIFE AND SOMEONE ELSE’S IDEA OF WHAT WOMANHOOD IS. WOMANHOOD STARTS WITH YOU”.
For many, the role of a woman is very limited — just to take care of the house. There are women who are our role models in life, who have lived up the way they want their life to be. Though living up your life doesn’t mean they don’t have struggles to share. We always say, men have more freedom to do whatever they feel like but a woman is restricted somehow in the spheres of their life. And I guess that’s true. Somehow, we can’t do certain things of our choice. This year Slogan “Choice to challenge” needs to be implemented where we can challenge ourselves to make those choices which make us happy. This is a concept where people are empowered to decide whether we need to participate or not.
Being it anywhere, personal or professional life, we celebrate women day by coming together from different culture, groups and we make a Vow of our Struggle, happiness, sacrifices, equality and development. Women’s day is telling yourself how worthy you are not for everyone but for yourself. The day you fell love yourself, people would love you, the day you will start respecting yourself, the people would respect you. This was a fantastic advice; I usually get from my close friend.
Well!!! The world is now a days changing in terms of gender equality. They have started accepting what a man can’t do, a women can do. This change was something that was required since ages. Though, it’s not completely changed for the women living in rural and backward areas but the world is changing. This day marks a day where we appreciate the lives of women, a day when we all acknowledge the value and importance of womanhood. But it should not be for a single day — 8th March. It should be every day, every single moment women should be treated and be loved. Starting from where child girl is born, till she becomes a mother and after that too, she has a life of which is remarkable, full of experiences which will mark the foundation.

A super hero — Our moms, daughters, wives, friends who so ever we know are so powerful in her own sense. We make a journey to walk; we even didn’t know how beautifully it can go. At times, I feel to be ordinary person, don’t want to rush in a huge race of life, want to sit back and relax, don’t want to get trapped where we have so many expectations from everyone around us. But I guess that’s what a super woman is all about.
I want people should love me for what I am. All expectations set for me will be fulfilled and don’t over expect every time. I am tired of fulfilling all the expectations and can never satisfy everyone. Life gives us the reasons to live a life for once. Try to utilize that life, feel proud of being a woman. Only you can do something, which no one can do. I make sure to give a smile on someone’s face, forgetting all my tears. But at the end, I too needed someone holding me, sitting beside me and saying — I am proud of you, being a women what you have done no one else can do!!
“Believe in yourself, celebrate your strengths, convert your weakness into your strength, and build self confidence in you. Don’t let anyone tell you, you are weak, simply because you are a woman”. So, Happy Women’s Day ladies… Be proud of you!!!!
